This is delightful! I haven't been in Duluth for some twenty years but your poem brought back my delight in that port city. Your memory is keen and your joy is infectious. But most of all you put me back in northern Minnesota and now I want to return in the flesh. I have a new car that's reliable and safe. Duluth beckons! But winter is not the time to travel in Minnesota. A spring journey - that's something to look forward to. But in the meantime thanks for the vivid poetry trip - like John Keats's imaginative flight in ODE TO A NIGHTINGALE: Already with you: tender is the night.
