I Remember The Bel Tree Under Which Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

I Remember The Bel Tree Under Which

Under the bel tree
We had a cottage
Attached to the tiled house
With the cattle in the shed
But the bel tree
With its half the branches
Spreading
Over the titled house
Used to damage the titles
By dropping over
In ones and twos
During the late summertime
Used to take us by strike sometimes
Which father used to object to
As for the tree of Shiva,
As for herbal purposes,
Liked for the stomach purpose,
Nourishment
Forbidding us to chop off
As the stray people used to collect
And used to be benefitted from
But we in general used to suffer for
His old thought and generosity
Making us suffer poorly.
