Through my valleys and shallow waters, I rise.
Through my struggles, pain, and tears I rise.
Because the Lord is my Sheppard I rise.
Because no weapon form against me shall prosper I rise.
Because the Lord is my refuge and strength I rise.
I arise during my challenges, and difficulties, because of my faith in God.
During the time of opposing, oppression, and distress, I rise
I rise because God is my Strength.
I rise because God is on my side.
When my back was against the wall without anyone
to help me, I rise in Christ my Lord.
When I wanted to die, I arise.
Because the Lord shall be exalted in my life, I rise.
I arise from the ghettoes of Newark to heaven's gates.
Because the Lord shall be exalted among the heathen.
I arise in Jesus's Bosom like Lazarus in Abraham's bosom.
Because the Spirit and the bride say come, I rise.
Because God shall be glorified through me, I rise.
I rise to be with my Father in heaven.
Thank God Almighty I rise, I rise, I rise in Jesus' name.
I rise above my enemies.
