I Said Hi!
I've lived wishing
to one day say-hi
I did
and for a moment
everything stopped
you too
and behold
the most beautiful smile
from the heavenliest of faces
that everyone wishes to wake beside
came my way
speechjarked
i did nothing but stare
hoping not to scare
with the tenderest of voices
you said 'hi back'.
