From the pain
Felt by cold words
Judging harshly
Over and over again

Detest the false narratives
Of flesh over matter
As this soul
Cries to be seen
By eyes
Looking upon the big picture
Of an alien spirit rising
To the beyond
Where the furthest stars ignite



Trying to rise
Above myself
Without falling
Straight down
Into Love's yearn fury abyss
Stuck in a dimension of confusion
Trying to find a way up
Towards the best dreams
This heart could ever foretell



Just too tired
Of falling flat
Back into
Harsh judgments
And an interview
With expectations

An angel could ever ascend
