I Sleep Poem by Daniel Miltz

I Sleep

In lull·a·bies, on twinkling starry night
Pleasing in peaceful sounds, so way afar
Dreaming on cloud nine, far away delight
Whilst' yenning on a diminishing star
Snowy gathers on nearby window bar
Inciting me to a sleepy aware
Constantly, breathing in, really b'zarre
Chest a rising up, about and with flare

Eyelids droopy, in cold wintery sleep
The moon and airy, in my dreamy fare
Silent in a silence, I slumber deep
Chest falls in time with ev'ry breath prayer
Silently disturbing, the still fresh air
Thoughts always come and go, I do a know
Bed swallows me whole, in my body bare
In the dreamscape of the nighty a·glow
