I Still Love You Poem by Kimberly Lindsey

I Still Love You

I know it makes no sense, but after everything we had,
I still love you, and will, with my dying breath.
Being without you hurts so bad.
I don’t know how to fix it, and I don’t know why,
But baby it’s you, it’s always been you.
And I can’t run from these feelings,
And I surely can not hide, I’ve been doing it for months,
And it’s just not right. I can’t go on, loving you so strong….
Without your love, everything in life is wrong!
So, I’m gonna put my heart out on the table.
I’m gonna tell you how I feel, please don’t interrupt me,
I need to get this out, I need to tell you how….
I love the way you look at me, I love the way you smile.
I love the way you say my name, your voice just drives me wild.
I love it when you touch me, just a gentle brush across my skin,
To let me know you love me, always have, always will.
I love the way we can sit for hours, and talk until the dawn,
I love the way you wake me up, with kisses in the morn’n.
I love the way you ask me, to help you with everything,
I love being with you, no matter what we do, And…
I love you on the outside, I love you inside too,
Even with all your faults, I can’t explain it, baby… I just do
