I still remember those late night calls
how you were there to catch me from all my falls
you always knew just what to do to cheer me up
all you had to do was tell me 'sup'
i don't know were we went wrong
we were oh so strong
i still remember the things we would do
how i had your back and you had mine 2
yeah we had our ups and our downs
but with you i had no frowns
sometimes i look back on the times we had
and i think to myself oh well it's to bad
when my friends talk about you
all i do is smile
and act like I'm over it
like I'm over us
but the truth is
I'm not
i still miss you
i thought we were going to get through it
but i guess neither of us made an effort
and you know the saying
'you never know what you have until it's all gone'
i didn't believe it until i lost you
i now know you truly are special
and now i wish i could go back
but it's to late
you've moved on
but i want you to know
i still love you
