I Surrender - Poem by Rose Falcone

Whispers in the dark
Ghosts of the past
Tip toe through the mind fields

Harken to the sounds
old tapes spinning
relentlessly turning

Old ways can’t prevail
Voices must cease
The heart and mind renew

In God’s hands now
I surrender
A new song will be sung
