In my everyday I feel you
In my thoughts your thoughts are mine

In a moment's wondering
My mind takes your form
For a moment you brush my skin
and I close my eyes - exhilarating

Your words swirl into a picture of you touching me
I imagine your voice whispering them to me
A moment fleeting but not gone
The feeling of my constant need for you lives on

When I wake with my head still on my pillow
I think of you without considering
I feel your breath on my neck
I turn to you and reach for you, but you are gone

Not gone, but never there
Never mine, Never here
Longing ever unrequited
Out of my depth, out of my mind
