I thought that I had forgotten how to cry
I thought I'd grown so cold
I thought that I would forget you
But I can't forget someone who saved my soul
I thought that it was over
I thought I'd never speak to you again
I thought that we were through
But you've shown me it can't end
I thought that we were done
I thought I could go on alone
I thought that I didn't need you
But when you left I turned to stone
I thought that I could live
I thought that I could love
I thought that my heart would be fine
But you broke it a little too much
