I Thought I Knew



I dive down
deep inside
and try to hide
but what i find
is my amassed
blindness.

I thought i knew
more than a few
things about
life
but then i felt
that stout
knife
dissolution
and less
proudness.

I have to stay
to pick the day
in open kindness
for when i
close my
eyes
the more
i find less.
