I tried to tell her with her music turned up so loud,
That I saw an image of her face in every passing cloud.
I tried to tell her as the truck drove by,
That I couldn't help but always get lost in her eyes.
I tried to tell her as the passing train roared,
That she was a more important thing to me than a knight needs his sword.
I tried to tell her as she covered her ears,
That i have been in love with her for oh so many years.
I tried to tell her but would she ever hear,
For the thought of her actually hearing was my one and only utterless fear...
