I changed course and tried to sleep
But was unable to keep
The good posture in night
As thought struggled with fight
The wind gently blew through window
That did help me to allow
Your lovely face to appear before eyes
As I desperately looked and tried
I failed to keep word
Tried to close eyes with thought of work
Nothing helped as you resurfaced
I got up to think about your innocent face
My eyes were facing ire
I may be subjected to satire
If fail to have full sleep
I again went into deep thoughts
I was hearing your beats
They were so eager to greet
I was lucky enough to have you
I too loved you and it was so true
I stared wide open
You were there all of sudden
I thought it was day dream
You had knocked and silently entered then
How I had wished happy union?
You were the best as companion
I enjoyed your closeness
In late night too there was shine on face
I changed course and tried to sleep But was unable to keep
