You’re in my mind, all the time.

You’re in my dreams, as crazy as it seems.

You’re in my heart, and I don’t want to be apart.

I understand your reasoning, it’s unquestioning.

I don’t want to make you feel bad, I want to keep the friendship that we’ve had.

I know you have a lot to do, you think I don’t have a clue.

I’m glad you were honest with me, But now I feel small as a pea.

I will be okay, there’s nothing else you can say.

Maybe not as fast as the wind, But my heart will mend.
