I used to believe, that you loved me
You were to blind to see, the reality

That my love for you, was very real
It was stamped, signed and sealed

My heart, you could have peeled
And within it, removed its shield

I had exposed myself, completely to you
And you made a fool of me, when I loved you

Well, now things are different, I no longer believe
I no longer care for you, that much I have achieved

It's funny, how I used to believe
And now it's you, who has to retrieve
