I'Ve Always Been The Girl

I've always been the girl in the background,
a shadow, know one embraced.
To afraid to talk to him,
face to face.
Ivé always been the girl,
you run into and don't say 'excuse me',
the strange girl
you never seemed to look at, to see.
If only you took the time to talk to me,
i'd become your friend, not your make believe enemy.
