I've Had Enough Poem by RIC BASTASA

I've Had Enough

you talk too much
and i remember parrots.

here is a man with a few
words
and i remember a dying
parrot.

here is a silent child
waiting for his mother.
i've seen enough of all
these
and i've heard more from
the voice of
silence.

and then i become a child
again
inside the bus left by
mama
looking for food
and calling for papa.

i have seen all these trees
in the park
and i have learned much from
those falling leaves
the chirping birds
those parked cars
and the yelping dog
still on leash
by his suicidal master.

There is always something new to learn from the life around. Very nice poem.
