I've Learned Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

I've Learned

Coastline like silver morning
Dark shadows turn into green
Fog slowly burns off
Birds of spring
Morning renews like a counselor
How I wish the world knew peace
Mediations from balance

Everyone seems close
No scorn
No hate
Quiet has become a fine friend
Light dappled in the clouds
Diffused through the pines
I feel a sense of joy
The Holy Spirit blesses me

The sun slowly rises with victory
Prayer blends with dawn
I've been depressed
I've wallowed in pain
I've ranted with emptiness
These last years are better
I've turned much of my pain over
I've learned to trust God

I've Learned
