I’ve taken care of it..
I’ve cleaned up the mess
I’ve picked up the pieces of my heart
I’ve thrown out the trash
I’ve thrown out all that would remind me of you
I’ve done all the dirty work
My only wish...
To be able to wipe my brain of the memories; good, and bad
To be able to wipe my lips of the tingle you gave me when we kissed...
I did all the work then to prepare for you...
and now I’ve done all the work to get rid of you.
I’ve taken care of it...
