I'Ve Tried That...
sleeping with a broken heart,
for days, weeks, years,
waking up everyday
on a self
still intact,
unbroken like the constancy
of my days,
week,
& years,
a morning coffee
sipped
without any thought
of having
tasted any
coffeeness at all.
