I WALK ON HAMELECH GEORGE ST. IN THE MORNING LIGHT
I walk on HaMelech George Street in the morning light-
Worlds open up-
I remember walking here often many years ago-
Vague longing and regret mix with pleasure
In my mind-
Soon I may never walk here again.
There is so much in Life to love and enjoy -
Soon there may be no more of it for me.
A regret at my own life-
That I have not lived enough-
And that it will go
As all things go –
Yet there is pleasure
In simply being alive
In the fullness of feeling
Inside
I cannot describe-
There is so much in Life to Love and Enjoy.
