I Want Poem by Kevin Eaglesfield

I Want

Rating: 5.0

I want to hold your hand a bit,
And when you sit,
I want my arm around your shoulders.

I want to snuggle up when cold,
And not be told
Inside my head I'm rubbish.

I want to look at you all day,
And not the way
I do now sideways on the sly.

I want to tell and point and share
Because you're there
And want to have my sees and says.

I want to want to hurry home,
Attack the phone
In case your voice is on the end.

I want to wake up with the sun
And not the run
Of passing out and coming to.

I just want you.

Oh I love this poetic piece of imperatives! Isn't it just wonderful to feel this loved up and just 'want'? Brill! HG: -) xx
