I Want Romantacism Poem by David Thomas

i've never been with anyone
who's meant the world to me
or even just a slice,
when the world churns to winter
the romantic's favorite time,

when the weather is fire place
and the day's activities are cuddling
and kissing lovingly
while the children rejoice outside,

all i've ever wanted
is that passionate rainy kiss
or dancing in the storms
or any form of intimate mutual
self expressionism
that comes from passionate,
shared love
between two forevers
instead of one neverer,

all i wanna do
is grab your hands and dance with you
while the rain pours down our bodies
and our eyes echo lovingly lovely love
through messages that only we would know,
i want to know (not think)
that when you're not with me
i populate your day
as you do with mine,
i want to know
i want to KNOW
that you love me more than i love you,
even though i love you more.
