I want to open my eyes to music
and close them just the same.
I want to laugh at all my troubles
and never shed a tear in shame.
I want to dance while I am working
and sing when I'm alone.
I want to kiss you in the moonlight
and give you piggy back rides home.

I want to dream impossible dreams
and then make a few come true.
I want to whisper when it's quiet
and shout...wherever...I LOVE YOU.
I want to hold the hands that need holding
and help the helpless find a way.
I want to kiss you in the moonlight
after every single day.
