I Want To Tell You Poem by Emily Dean

I Want To Tell You

I look in the mirror

what can i see,

someone who isnt good enough

you dont belong with me

deserve so much better

this we know,

some one who makes you feel special,

who can help you grow,

all i know is i want to be them

and i know that it would be hard

all i know is i want to love you

and i know that i come scared,

and i know! that you are amazing

and your eyes makes mine fill with tears

and i know that you are amazing

and i want to tell you threw all the years.

When i see you smiling

see i smile too

and then i think i didnt make that

that perfects smile on you

every time you walk past me

like im not there

makes me sigh and wonder

Did you really care?

But…

all i know is i want to be them

and i know that it would be hard

all i know is i want to love you

and i know that i come scared,

and i know! that you are amazing

and your eyes makes mine fill with tears

and i know that you are amazing

and i want to tell you threw all the years.

I gave you all theses nicknames

but cant you see

the one that i stuck by

pumpkin and my baby,

i wish i could whisper it to you

right to your ear,

say ”Youre so beautiful pumpkin”

and i just want you near

all i know is i want to be them

and i know that it would be hard

all i know is i want to love you

and i know that i come scared,

and i know! that you are amazing

and your eyes makes mine fill with tears

and i know that you are amazing

and i want to tell you threw all the years.

I know that you are amazing

i want to tell you threw all the years.
