I was taught to be good ~ you know,
I was taught to know Right from Wrong,
Why do I have a conscience now?
Will it make my Future strong?

I was taught to have Faith in G-d,
To Love and not to Hate,
Be a Friend to one and all,
And make my Enemy ~ my Mate.

I was taught to love all HE’s made,
To preserve and not destroy,
So all Creations will forever last,
And by all to come will them enjoy.

I was taught to embrace all that’s good,
To help the Poor, the Sick and Infirm,
As Life does change for us all,
And from Horror we should not squirm.

I was taught to love the Life we have,
To Live it to the full,
For only HE knows how much time is left,
Which is determined by HIS Will.
