I Wasn't Enough Poem by MaKayla Hawk

I Wasn't Enough

Rating: 5.0

I wasn't enough for you.
You wanted her and not me.
But you married me out of pity.
Even though I tried to be your all
I could never compete with Ms. Homewrecker.

I wasn't enough for you
You've told me that several times
Reminded me how pathetic I am
Telling me I'm better off dead
Even though I'm the mother ofyour 2 son's
That means nothing

I wasn't enough for you
And for the first time since you've left
I'm okay with that
Because I'm enough for someone better.
