I Will Poem by Caroline Guedes

I Will

Rating: 5.0

I will pass all my angels on to you
to help relieve your sorrow
I will give you both my shoulders
to rest your weary head
I will relinquish my energy into you
to help liven your spirit
I will lend you my arms to wrap
around you as long as you dread
I will pray for you all my waking hours
and dream of you while I sleep
I will do all that is needed to ease
your pain, tell you beautiful stories, I'll read
you poems until you are at peace
I will stay at your side until the lastest hour
to accompany your lonely heart
I will lend you my ears to listen to
every and anything you want to impart
I will draw you a bath, make you a
cup of tea to release your stress
I will be your rock when you need to
lean on me, I promise to never do less
I will sing you a thousand lullabies
to wish you off to heavenly sleep
I will do anything to ease your pain
I will play your favourite song over and over
again to calm your nerves
I will cry my heartfelt tears so you
don't have to, if that will heal the wound
I will come running at your first call
if you ever need to escape
I will write you this poem to show
that I'll always care unconditionally.
I will be there anytime, any place.
