Time has passed by for us many years;
you've always been beside me in laugh and in tears.

Our friendship is growing but how long will it be;
until we face the day when you say good-bye to me.

We've lost so much time through mistakes that I've made;
I can't let this happen, I can't let this fade.

Each time I fall you still give me a chance;
but now I think it's time to give our friendship romance.

I know that you care and that your feelings are true;
so I want you to know that I'll be there for you.

Maybe someday you'll know how I feel;
because each time you hurt me I let my heart heal.
