I Will Not Pray Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

I Will Not Pray

I will not pray

Languages are beautiful, as are the rolling stones after long trips
From mountains to faraway places facing rocks, muds, water and weather.

Languages are beautiful when experiences shrink to simple phrases; expressions.
Afghanis say in Persian: “if our prayers aren't accepted we won’t pray for free.”

Thinking of the Afghans, I could understand your reactions. I am glad you are able to express your feeling in this very cryptic writing. Be blessed. Mohabeer Beeharry
