I Will Save You Poem by Justin Hendricks

I Will Save You

Tear's fall on one dark night.
Remembering who lost the will to fight.
In this game we all call life.
They left us with only a knife.

I would cry to hear to sing.
Any song would do just to be numb.
To numb the pain you had to bring.
You can't tell me this is done.

Can you stay one more day?
I want to love you like yesterday.
Forget the past as long as your okay.
I need you here so I will pray.

I'll leave you with what I never found.
Happiness has slipped through the crack.
I must move on, not staying around.
Always stay strong with me at your back.

If there comes a time your not so brave.
I'll be there from beyond the grave.
Bringing hope into your face.
Promise you won't ever leave this place.
