I really am not to fond of this poem. However, I feel that in order for people to know me as a poet I need to make all of my poetry available.

I don't understand these feelings
I have no control of my actions
I can't stop myself from glancing your way
My heart beats fast at the slightest touch
You've made me laugh, you've made me cry
You've shown me you have a sensitive side
When I'm near you, my breathing is out of control
It stops and goes, then stops then goes
When I hear your voice, I get chills through my spine
And I wish that I could slow down time
When I'm near you, my insides flutter
But when we're apart my heart starts to stutter
To stutter
And slow
And slow
And stop
I remind myself to breathe
I imagine your face
I close my eyes and hear your voice
I can nearly feel your gentle touch
In my head I see your gorgeous brown eyes
I almost feel your breath on my face
My eyes snap open
The dream is gone
I wish you were mine
