I Wish You Deserved Me Poem by Snake Blocker

I Wish You Deserved Me

I wish you deserved me, my lady.
I wish you were someone to trust.
You tease and you touch without pleasure,
Sleeping by yourself in the dust.

The days have you thinking of malice,
No one's around you to blame.
I wonder, "Will you kick the habit,
While hanging your head down in shame? "

I wish you deserved me, my lady.
Respect, not abuse, is the key.
You're sober the days that I hate you.
So what do you want out of me?

I wish you deserved me—you don't!
I wish I could trust you—I won't!
You tease with the touch of a lady denied.
My problem's I give you too much.

I wish I could respect you somehow.
I wish I could change you right now.
You cheat and you lie while your mind's soaring high.
You gave up the chance to reply!
