I Woke From Apnea Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

I woke up fitful
Bladder full
Went to answer the basic instinct
Came back to sleep instantly
This time i was next to a house
Saw something looking like a grouse
They were drones
Some as small as phones
Some flying in formation
Gathering information
For what, for whom?
Like war was looming
Big planes
Small bi-planes
Doing acrobatic feats
Mesmerising the street
I lay on the ground
A miniature drone came to my nostrils without a sound
Came real close to take a sample
Perfect high tech example
Then disappeared up in air
I woke from apnea.
