I Won'T Cry For You No More Poem by Jarid Kool

I Won'T Cry For You No More

I won't shed anymore tears. I had it with your lies.
I'm through being your stepping-stone. This is my
goodbye.

The abuse I took all those years describes the
person that you are. I let you push me to a
certain level, but now you've gone too far.

Pack up your things and go. There is no more me and
you. I said it one time before, do I need to repeat
that we're through?

Go find somebody else to mess over. Let them find
out what a person you are. You're lower than dirt...
what a fall! You use to be my star.

You want me to cry a river, but I won't give you
the satisfaction. You thought I'd never leave you.
You thought I was all talk, no action.

'You'll never find nobody better than me, ' you
laughed and you taunt. There is more fish in the
sea and I'll catch anyone I want.

I do not hate you. I'm a better person than that.
If it wasn't for you, then I wouldn't be where
I'm at.

So thank you for making me wiser. I will not get
depress. I will not stay angry at you nor love you
any less.

Because of you I'm stronger. I can stand the test
of time. I am taking back my life. I am taking
back what's mine.

My self-esteem you cannot have. My pride you will
not take. What you see is a changed man...I've
been redeemed this day.

Once you were my lover. You were all I was asking
for. Now you're a thing of the past and I won't
cry for you no more.
