I Would Have Poem by Randy McClave

I Would Have

I would have walked through fire and ice
Just to once again see her eyes,
It would had been my final dream
If to once again see her eyes of green.

I would have travelled many lonesome trips
If only once again I could taste her lips,
If only once more those lips I could taste
Sweetness again I knew I would had embraced.

I would have starved myself for one week
If for just once more to hear her speak,
One more time just to hear her voice
My soul would then rejoice.

I would have traveled through a dessert mile
Just to once again to see her smile,
Just so that I could look and then smile back
That is all that I would had asked.

I would have done this or that
No matter where I was I going or where I was at,
But, when I should have made a bid
I just soullessly and uncaringly never did.
