I Write Poem by Kimberly Lindsey

Sometimes, I can't find the words to say
what I feel inside.
But write them I can.
My throat closes up, and my chest gets tight,
but I can write them for you.
It is easier for me, to write than to speak.
I don't know why, but that is the way I am.
Thank you for understanding,
and helping me work through,
all the feelings, and emotions,
I try to hide.
It is easier sometimes,
to hide behind your mind.
Than to open yourself to hurt.
I love you so much,
and appreciate your love.
It gets better everyday.
And one day soon,
I will surprise you and do,
what now is impossible, for me.
