Iam Prophet Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Iam Prophet

It now rains acid
'we' created this wasteland
seems so trivial

compassion sans love
actions producing nothings
but, jelly babies!

shell fish creatures they
survive birth, for a moment
so much debris now

our backs before wholes
wholes of nothing, just wholes
our backs to those wholes!

there is oxygen
manufactured to retail
only the riche' buy

the rest of US beg
or steal, if not; we will die
chasing that ideal…

america's dream
daily rations for an eye!
eyes hold high value!

all meaningless now
streets filled with dead and dying
women and children

no one cares for them
everyone 'owns' this problem
every forest dead...

all water is death
earth's environment is poison
and 'we, ' are to blame

'we' saw; did nothing
continued to be users
to many females

each male infertile
the last child died yesterday
not much else to say...

'we', became decay
lowly bacteria made
US like miscreants

lost, of hope and faith
'we', are the last animals
and barely alive...

on this desert Earth
the sun does no longer shine
it has died also...

death, it sure does stink
Oh... that is me I now smell!
Then, I fade away...

to where I go now
through horizons glowing red
Yes; IAM Prophet...
