Ice And Sun Nature's Ways Poem by Debra Trayer

Ice And Sun Nature's Ways

Rating: 4.5

This morning I awoke to see
Glimmers of ice covering the tree.
Like frozen glass droplets on each branch
Shimmering with luster at a slight glance.

But then a huge truck came down the hill.
I watched it slide and then do a spill
Into the ditch off the road
What would happen to the load?

The driver waited for a salt truck to come
But then the sun came out and melted the ice some.
Luckily he was able to get back on the road.
And wished that it had only snowed.

The ice is now slowly melting away.
The sun made a drastic change in just one day.
So when you feel a little frozen like hard glass plate
Take time to think warm thoughts to change your fate.
