With your solid ice intact
Endless years in the freeze
You and nature form a pact
To stay ahead of the breeze
Chunks of ice break apart
Forming little bergs in the dark
Riding waves, you wait and wonder
Till you reach the land down under
Dare the sun to hiss and glare
Melting ice which forms your layer
Pounding and grinding your domain
Inching its way across your plain
In the land of the lost, it's bitter frost
And there's nothing but ice to see
But your days are done, when your glare is gone
And you blend in with the sea.
