Idol Carry On Poem by Javier Zamorano

Idol Carry On

I could have ran a little harder
a little distance could have,
would have been farther from the truth
the truth has been sold early on,
carry on these illusions of gold
carry on, carry on
It will be many rivers that do not drink
and we will all fill up on ourselves
have a drink on me.
Here is the body of many castaways
let us learn how this world bleeds let us slave
a lifetime to hold on to the things we will
never have
This urge to believe so strong,
this will to carry on
but why the message so wrong............
