I stood there watching her by your side
You said your vows to your lovely bride
How I wished I could take her place
And gaze so lovingly onto your face
You were in love and we weren't to be
The love I showed you, you could not see.
I love you to this very day
my feelings for you never went away.
What a life we could have led
if you had married me instead
I know we would have been awesome lovers
As we snuggled deep beneath the covers
I would have been the perfect wife
