Waiting
Alone I lie in the pale moonlight
Waiting on the new daylight
To hear the sound of your beautiful voice
To be your one and only true choice
To feel your arms around me
and to feel your gentle touch
Is what I hope and yearn for
Oh so very much.
I hope you know I love you
and I know you love me too
I did back then, as I do still
I always have and always will.
