If I could protect you all the time from both physical and emotional pain, and drama, I would.
If I could tell what and how you are feeling, I’d care for you.
If I could help with every problem, I would.
If I could talk to you all the time, I would.
If I could be with you all the time, I would.
If I could, I would.
But I can’t protect you from every single thing, because we’re in seperate classes and soon we’ll be in diferent schools.
I can’t tell what and how you are feeling all the time, because sometimes I don’t even know what and how I’m feeling.
I can’t help you with every problem, because I also need to help myself with my problems and you with yours.
I can’t talk to you all the time, because we would need walky-talkies.
I can’t be with you all the time, because we live in different nieghborhoods, and we can’t drive yet.

Once I asked you to make it so that I was never born, but you said “No, I need you.” I feel the same with you. We need each other most during these times. These times where we just can’t talk to our families’ about it. And these times where only your friends understand, sometimes better than you parents.

I would do it all for you.
Hopefully you’d do the same for me.
