If I Die Tomorrow Poem by Alexis Ricardo

If I Die Tomorrow

If I die tomorrow
Please don't go to my funeral
Don't wear black
Don't cry for me
Don't pretend to be sad
If I die tomorrow please don't morn me
If I die tomorrow
Don't say "she will be missed"
Don't say "rest in peace"
Don't say that my death is a tragedy
If I die tomorrow do not write a song for me
If I die tomorrow
Don't pretend I was a good person
Don't pretend that my death is a reason to cry
Don't think of my death as a sad thing
If I die tomorrow know that the world will be a better place
If I die tomorrow
Trash talk me on Twitter (I deserve it)
Say how horrible I was
Make sure everyone knows I wasn't a good person, heck you don't even have to wait until I'm dead
If I die tomorrow remember I wasn't a saint
If I die tomorrow
Don't cry for me
Don't morn me
Don't be sad
If I die tomorrow
Cry for the people I hurt
Morn the lives my actions ended
Be sad for the negative impact I have had
If I die tomorrow please don't morn me
If I die tomorrow please remember
You don't need to be say nice things about me because I'm dead
You don't need to erase my mistakes
You don't need to pretend be sad
If I die tomorrow I will not be missed
If I die tomorrow
I'm still a bad person
Nothing has changed
I'm not a saint
If I die tomorrow please don't pretend I was anything other than a horrible person
If I die tomorrow
Good, the word would be a better place without me
If I die tomorrow please don't morn me

Sad and emotional poetic wri: e. I think you may have to edit this poem. You mean mourn nor morn. Nicely done. Keep posting. : -)

Brave utterances set aside for sober reflection. Very heartfelt. Thanks for sharing Alexis.
