If I had a beard
I'd brush it every day
I'd really mollycoddle it
in each and every way
If I had a beard
I'd trim it every week
then dye it every fortnight
so I would look a freak
If I had a beard
my beard would be lush
not for me the Van-Dyke
no, a veritable bush
If I had a beard
I'd love it day and night
with everything that I possess
if blue or red or white
My beard would look a rainbow
would be my pride and joy
I've long desired a bushy beard
but I'm only a little boy
