If I Had One Wish Poem by Kimberly Lindsey

If I Had One Wish

If I could have one wish,
What would it be?

Would it be for us to be together,
For all of eternity?

Would it be to have enough money,
To be comfortable throughout my life?

Or would it be to end world hunger,
That babies might survive?

Would it be for you to be happy,
No matter what it cost me?

Would it be for all the homeless,
A shelter they should have?

Or would it be for all to worship Christ,
In heaven they will all live?

Would it be to never suffer heartbreak,
My love would then mend?

If I could have one wish, I would ask the Lord above,
To grant each and every wish. To each, us to give His love.
For in His love all things are meant, to glorify His name.
And if that would bring the above to pass, we won’t die in shame.

It's a wonderful poem and a wondwerful wish but I wonder if the world would be a better place if our Lord granted each and every wish. :) GG
