Alone I May Be - Poem by Kimberly Lindsey
I am hurt by your callousness,
I am angry at your denial,
I love you, and that makes no sense,
You cheat and you lie.
I can not pull away,
I can’t make myself leave.
For you my heart beats,
Though alone I may be.
For you are there,
And I, I am here.
