Alone I May Be - Poem by Kimberly Lindsey

I am hurt by your callousness,
I am angry at your denial,

I love you, and that makes no sense,
You cheat and you lie.

And yet…..

I can not pull away,
I can’t make myself leave.

For you my heart beats,
Though alone I may be.

For you are there,
And I, I am here.

Love given, should have the same love in return., as if not more:
Makre sure you take what you deserve and dont settle for less,
you seem very intellegent and should remind yourself
    your worth everything you deserve

the heart is not mine to give; the heart is not yours to take thus ends the struggle. (Report) Reply
