If I Had Words/ For The Colors Of Leaves Poem by Shalom Freedman

If I Had Words/ For The Colors Of Leaves

IF I HAD WORDS

If I had words
For the colors of leaves
Then I might be
The poet of trees-
But all these shades
Beyond my means-
The wonders of God’s world
Must be seen
To be redeemed.
